Had a great few days fishing on the river today with 2 lads from Austria. The biggest fish on the first day was caught by Christian. The fish was 41″ long and was a shade over 20 lb.
The fish took a roach off the surface and gave a fantastic fight in a very strong current, including some great jumps. Best of 6 fish all caught on deadbaits when they would not look at lures.
This was Christian’s biggest ever Pike. rj
