Apologies for the prolonged silence the last few weeks but the family and myself have been a bit under the weather.
I have a few of posts that will bring us back up to date.
Firstly back in mid-June I had the pleasure of meeting up again with American country music star Reba McEntire. I first met Reba about 10 years ago when she and her touring party were in Dublin for a few concerts. I was asked to take some of her party on a couple of fishing trips during their spare time on the trip.
They obviously had a good time, as Reba was recently back in Dublin for a short vacation with some family and friends and I got a call to take some of the party fishing for a few days. During the visit I got to meet and fish with some really great people and we got in some lure and fly fishing for trout as well as some pike fishing.
Last week Gary and I were doing some filming on the Grand Canal and next week we will again be filming, this time on River Moy at the Ballina Salmon Festival in Co. Mayo ( July 13th to July 15th). rj
