And onwards to Waterville…

Last night the launch of our latest DVD ‘Sea to Stream’ took place in the Morgan Hotel on Fleet Street, Temple Bar in Dublin. The film is a celebration of sea trout fishing on one of Irelands greatest fisheries Lough Currane, Waterville, Co. Kerry

We had over 70 turn up to see what became a labour of love for Charlie, Gary and myself. Unfortunately our colleague Niall Tobin could not make the evening but his voice was heard by all.

Filmed and edited over the last 12 months, we met, talked and fished with Neil O’ Shea and some of the Loughs best fishermen including sea trout record holder Sean Smith.

I would like to thank them and all the locals who helped and encouraged us to complete this project.

It was great to see the support of Inland Fisheries Ireland last night, in particular Des Chew, Josie Mahon, Shane O’Reilly and Paul Bourke.

Also the presence of Derek Evan from the Irish Times is greatly appreciated.

Again a big thank you to all who braved the weather last night and dropped in to the launch. And a big thank you to all those who bought the DVD, we hope you enjoy it.

Heading down now to Waterville to do some fishing and filming for the current project. Hope to mix a bit of Bass fishing in on Sunday with a visit to Currane on Saturday.

We also plan to show the whole film in the Butler Arms Hotel on Saturday night about 8pm. If you are around drop in. Your sure to meet a lot of angling friends. rj
